Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. I Thessalonians 5:11

On the Road (again) of Encouragement!

Dear Friend,

My good friend Pete James has launched a wonderful new daily devotional called, “Prayers in the Cloud.” You may subscribe here: www.prayersfromthecloud.com.

Pete began these devotionals by sending them to a cousin recovering from an illness and now a growing circle enjoy them. Each day he shares the story of a person, some from the distant past, others closer to our day, and a prayer written by or in some way connected with that person. I love these devotionals and trust that you will too!

This year, as always, with the Building One Another podcast, Lee Zehmer and I encourage you to take the theme of these podcasts to heart. Choose to be a building one another person - a person for whom the road of life is the road of encouragement.

The people our Lord brings to you are on their own challenging roads. You may know for certain that your words and deeds of encouragement can make all the difference. “Your words put people on their feet!” Job 4:4

Ask our Lord for his people eyes, the eyes of Jesus to see people as he sees them. Determine to come alongside and be an encouraging presence, even if that is a personal challenge for you!

Trust God to be the ultimate encourage in your life and in theirs!
