Journey into Joy!

Does your Easter joy translate into daily joy?

Last week I tripped on a hose, discovered I had to redo a job because someone else dropped the ball and I had to dig through ten boxes looking for a missing document.

Have you ever done a joy check? Especially when you are feeling a bit annoyed?

Consider this wonderful word the Apostle Paul writes directly after addressing a disagreement between two people, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.”

The key here is the place of joy is “in the Lord” and not in the circumstances of life.

Do a joy check. Just stop and consider how your spirit is doing and choose joy - in the Lord.

Remember that whatever your circumstances may be, the Lord who loves you is a very present help in time of trouble and loves you more than you love your next breath!

The joy of the Lord is your strength! Nehemiah 8:10

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11

2. How does the fact that the location of joy is "in the Lord" and not in our circumstances speak to you?
3. Regardless of your present situation, will you choose joy? Our Lord's joy is your joy - so go on a journey into joy!
