Building One Another®

A Podcast About Encouragement

Be a Valley-Walker!

Letter

Building One Another

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. I Thessalonians 5:11

Be a Valley-Walker!

Dear Friend,

You know very well who is with you as you walk through your valley of the shadow!

Jesus the Good Shepherd is your ultimate valley-walker!

Who else are the valley-walkers in your life - the people who walk with you through whatever valley of the shadow lies before you?

Conversely, for whom are you a valley-walker alongside someone facing fear, pain and uncertainty?

Know that being a valley-walker is not safe if the valley is not safe!

If valley of the shadow isn’t safe for the one with whom we walk, them it’s not safe for us either. There is a cost to this “valley walking” of time, energy, resource and will.

Therefore, if you want to be a valley-walker with someone for the long haul, you have to be renewable in order for you to be expendable!

You need your own valley-walkers – those with whom you experience refreshment and the renewal of heart even as you walk with others!

“I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20
